These Terms & Conditions govern your relationship with Crazy Puffin Adventures And Tourism LLC ("Crazy Puffin Adventures", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Dubai, U.A.E. (Office G-08, Ras Al Khor Avenue). By booking an Adventure with us, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
All our Adventures have guaranteed departures — they will take place regardless of the number of participants. If an Adventure is cancelled due to Force Majeure, you may either receive a full credit toward any future Crazy Puffin Adventure, or a complete refund minus any non-refundable costs already incurred.
Force Majeure refers to any event or circumstance which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. This includes but is not limited to: war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather or road conditions, fire, bureaucratic obstacles, and cancellations or changes by airlines, ferry companies, bus or train operators, or other events beyond our control.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable VAT. Crazy Puffin Adventures cannot be held responsible for currency fluctuations or additional fees outside our control, such as bank transfer fees or card processing charges.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit payment. You will then receive a booking confirmation email, followed by scheduled updates to keep you informed about the trip — including requests for any necessary documents and a copy of your passport.
You are responsible for carefully checking all details on your confirmation and travel documents. In the event of any discrepancy — such as an incorrect date or number of participants — please contact us immediately. Crazy Puffin Adventures cannot be held responsible for mistakes made during the booking process.
The balance payment is due 60 days before departure. We will send an invoice with a payment link at that time. If your deposit is paid within 60 days of departure, you will receive a balance invoice within 24 hours.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By completing a payment you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
All cancellations due to personal reasons must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
After paying your deposit, you have 7 days to withdraw and claim it back. A $100 administration fee will be deducted. After 7 days, the deposit is forfeited.
Your balance payment will be converted to a credit toward any future Crazy Puffin Adventure. The deposit will be forfeited. Credits are valid for 12 months from the original booking date.
No refund will be given. If you are forced to leave an Adventure early, any additional costs incurred are your own responsibility.
Once Crazy Puffin has purchased flights or processed visa payments on your behalf, these costs are non-refundable regardless of when cancellation occurs.
If you wish to move to a different Adventure, this is subject to availability and a switching fee will apply.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travellers. We cannot review or approve your chosen policy and are not responsible for inadequate coverage. Your policy should include, at minimum:
We strongly recommend choosing a policy that covers cancellation at short notice. We recommend checking IATI Travel Insurance and World Nomads.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the end of the Adventure. You are responsible for holding a valid visa for your destination where required. Visa regulations change frequently and differ between embassies — any guidance we provide is for reference only. You should verify requirements with your government's travel advisory and the relevant embassy.
For destinations where Crazy Puffin arranges your visa: if you provide all required documents on time and follow our instructions but your application is unsuccessful, your payment will be held as a credit toward a future Adventure (subject to availability).
For destinations where you arrange your own visa: our team will offer guidance, but we are not liable for rejections. In such cases, your payment may be partly credited toward a future Adventure.
Any customer who intentionally misleads us to illegally enter a country will forfeit all deposits and payments.
Our Adventures operate in remote and sometimes unpredictable environments. We reserve the right to modify itineraries or cancel departures at short notice for safety reasons. Train and flight tickets are subject to availability, and we may change the mode of transport accordingly.
We do not guarantee departure times and are not liable for delays or cancellations by third-party transport providers. We will always seek to provide a suitable replacement in the event of any change.
All travellers must comply with local laws and regulations at all times. Crazy Puffin Adventures accepts no responsibility for consequences — financial or otherwise — arising from a customer's breach of local law. Travellers are also required to follow the guidance and rules of Crazy Puffin Adventures at all times. We reserve the right to remove from the tour, without refund, any customer who refuses to comply.
By booking with us, you acknowledge that our Adventures involve a significant degree of personal risk, including travel to destinations that your government may advise against. You accept these risks of your own free will and consent to the limitations of liability set out in these Terms.
All activities are undertaken entirely at your own risk. You are required to behave responsibly at all times and take proper care of your own safety. You will be required to sign a liability waiver after booking.
Standards of service, safety, hygiene, and local behaviour may differ from what you are accustomed to at home. Crazy Puffin Adventures is not responsible for such differences. We are not liable for:
