If you cancel within 7 days of booking, we'll refund your deposit after deducting a $100 administration fee.

It depends on your destination, as we offer either 2 or 3 payment installments.

For 2 installments, the final payment is due 60 days before the trip.

For 3 installments, the payment schedule will be different and will be shared with you in advance.

If we are forced to cancel an adventure, you can either keep your full credit to use on any future Crazy Puffin adventure, or receive a complete refund. Your money is safe with us.

At Crazy Puffin, we are proud to offer one of the most flexible cancellation policies, even though we operate trips in sensitive destinations. The cancellation terms vary depending on how many days before departure you cancel your trip. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details.

Yes — all of our adventures are guaranteed to depart once confirmed. We don't cancel because of low numbers.

Absolutely. Many of our travellers book solo specifically to meet like-minded adventurers. Our groups are small and social — people tend to leave as friends.

Some adventures are led by Björn, our founder. Others are led by our dedicated tour leaders Anna and Cristian. In every destination we also have expert local guides and partners on the ground throughout your journey.

Tour inclusions vary by destination — please refer to the individual adventure page for a full breakdown. Generally, all ground transportation, accommodation, and listed activities are included. Meals vary by tour.

Flights are not included in any of our tours. However, our team is happy to offer guidance when booking — just ask us.

All prices are based on twin sharing. If you're travelling solo and don't mind sharing, we will do our best to accommodate you in the same room with a traveller of the same gender. However, in some cases where room pairing is not possible, a single supplement may apply.

Yes — we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all our adventures. We recommend checking out IATI Travel Insurance and World Nomads.

We'll do our best to accommodate any dietary requirements — plant-based, vegetarian, or allergies. Just let us know when you book and we'll plan ahead with our local partners.

Safety is our top priority. All destinations have been personally vetted by Björn, and we have trusted local partners on the ground in every country. We monitor situations continuously and our local experts know their countries better than any travel advisory. We don't go anywhere we wouldn't go ourselves.
