The essentials for this trip are: light but covering clothes, sun protection (hat, sunblock, glasses, scarf), cash to pay for food and souvenirs.
8
How much cash should I bring on this trip?
ATMs are not available in Somaliland. We recommend bringing enough cash to pay for extra food, souvenirs, or to give tips to the local team. The equivalent of 200-300 USD should be plenty enough (unless you plan to buy some more expensive souvenirs).
