In 2016 the World Health Organisation declared Sri Lanka malaria-free. Sri Lanka had been among the most malaria-affected countries in the mid-20th century but the country's anti-malaria campaign successfully changed this around.

Day 1:
Arrival in Sri Lanka

Our team will pick you up from the international airport in Colombo and bring you to our hotel in Negombo.

Is it safe to travel to
Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka is incredibly safe and the local people are extremely welcoming towards tourists.

How does the booking process work?
Your spot will be secured as soon as we receive your deposit payment. This deposit is refundable up to 10 days after your booking.
You can pay the remaining balance in cash in USD upon arrival in Sri Lanka.

How do I get visa?
Tourist visa is very easy and fast to obtain. Go to www.eta.gov.lk/slvisa/ and apply for you e-visa.
The e-visa is usually approved in 1-3 days but we recommend that you have the visa ready in good time.

What is the minimum/maximum number of participants on this trip?
We do have a guarantee of departure for this trip.
And we take a maximum of 10 people + crew for each tour.

Can I come as a solo traveler
That’s absolutely not a problem! You will be paired with another like-minded solo traveler and share the room with him/her. Or you can get a single supplement for an additional fee. With a single supplement you will get your own hotel room.

Do I need to bring cash?
Just bring cash for the remaining balance for the trip, otherwise you can use ATM in most places and cards are widely acceptable.
