Ski/Snowboard in Afghanistan
10 Days

Afghanistan!! I'm sure just hearing that name your thoughts go straight to war and conflicts, considering how the media has portrayed the country in the past 50 years or so.
But believe me, this country has so much to offer and we can't wait to explore it with you. On this trip we will start in Kabul and see how the locals are living their daily life as well we will visit astonishing mosques and museums and get beautiful views of the city.
The main highlight of this trip is skiing in the Baba Mountains where we will spend 3 full days hiking up the hills and enjoy the stunning views while we ride down the mountain. Another highlight of the trips is Bamyan valley, which is UNESCO listed. There used to stand the tallest Buddha statues in the world before the Taliban destroyed them 20 years ago. There we can also find amazing national parks and ruins from old cities. We will end the journey on a road trip to Panjshir province which is considered the most beautiful part of Afghanistan by the locals.
