You should be reasonably fit to enjoy this trip to the fullest. Most bike rides are between 50-100 km long, sometimes on bumpy roads.

7

What should I bring for this trip?

The essentials for this trip are: light but covering clothes, sun protections (hat, sunblock, glasses, scarf), swimwear and towel, powerbank, a small bagpack to strap on your bike, cash to pay for food and souvenirs. The biking equipment will be provided.

How much cash should I bring on this trip?

It is not always easy to find reliable ATMs in Tanzania. We recommend bringing enough cash to pay for your food (lunches and dinners), to buy some souvenirs, or to give tips to the local team. The equivalent of 400 USD should be plenty enough (unless you plan to buy some more expensive souvenirs).
